THANK YOU SO MUCH!

What an amazing year! Once again, Pieta House seemed to thrive, and although more people than ever contacted us looking for help, we were delighted with the increase in our service, as it means more people are reaching out and getting the help they deserve.

The beginning of the year saw two brand new Centres open – one in Ballyfermot in Dublin, and the other in Limerick. Almost one year on and they are doing really well. We had our most successful Darkness into Light to date, adding Cork, Kerry, Clare and Galway to our list of venues. Our Autumn season kicked off with our annual Suicide Awareness Week, but I think our highlight has been the recognition we have received over the last year, which puts Pieta firmly as the number one organisation specifically dedicated to suicide intervention and helping those who self-harm.

Of course, none of this would have been possible at all without our wonderful, caring staff and our fantastic fleet of volunteers! Without the help and support of all the thousands of Friends of Pieta our year would not have been the memorable year it has become.
