Pieta House team up with Alex and Ani to launch butterfly bangle

Date: 7th June 2017

JEWELLERY brand ALEX AND ANI have created a ‘Charity By Design’ bangle in aid of Pieta House.
This is the first of the Charity By Design range to be made available in Ireland. The bangle, which has a butterfly charm, carries the meaning of renewal, strength and rebirth. 10% of every bangle sold goes directly to Pieta House, with a minimum donation of €5,000 promised.
The Charity By Design collection focuses on organisations whose mission aligns with the three main causes that ALEX AND ANI strive to support: community development and relief, health and wellness and environmental and animal care.
“We are honoured to collaborate with ALEX AND ANI and to be their first ‘Charity By Design’ partner in Ireland,” said Pieta House CEO Brian Higgins of the collaboration.
“We’re proud of the strong ethical background of the company and we are so struck by the beauty of the bangles and what they represent. The butterfly represents change, beauty and diversity and it’s a great symbol of hope and strength and of a future for clients of Pieta House and for all of us.”
ALEX AND ANI and Pieta House launched the bangle with an event in the Tara Building in Dublin city centre.
While this is the first Charity by Design bangle to be sold in Irish retailers, ALEX AND ANI have given back over $47 million to charities to date.

The ALEX AND ANI Charity by Design butterfly bangle retails at €36 from all ALEX AND ANI stockists, including Arnotts and Kilkenny Shop.
