#ShareTheLight at the Aviva Stadium for Ireland v England

AS Ireland take on England in the RBS 6 Nations at the Aviva Stadium this Saturday, Pieta House, supported by Aviva Insurance, will be asking the 50,000 supporters in attendance to “Share the Number, Share the Light”.

The campaign was launched by Fair City actress Rachel Pilkington and celebrity chef Derry Clarke – both fantastic Pieta House ambassadors - along with former Ireland rugby international David Wallace, Leinster Rugby’s Mike Ross and Mike McCarthy and broadcaster and journalist Charlie Bird – who has kindly donated all the proceeds from his book A Day in May to Pieta House.

As Aviva’s Charity of the Day at Ireland v England, the campaign to share the Pieta House suicide helpline number 1800 247 247 will run on the pitchside LED boards and around the stadium.

A special video has also been commissioned by Aviva to create awareness of the campaign and this will be played at half time. And 20% of all coffee and tea sales on the day going directly to Pieta House, thanks to Compass.

Ireland and Leinster players Mike Ross and Mike McCarthy will also be outside the Aviva Stadium before the game on Saturday encouraging fans attending to “Share the Number, Share the Light”.
