Supporting people and communities in crisis

Pieta provides free therapy to those engaging in self-harm, with suicidal ideation, or bereaved by suicide. We rely on the generosity of the public whose donations and fundraising make up over 80% of our income. Please support us.

How We Can Help?

We provide a professional one-to-one therapeutic service to people who are in suicidal distress, those who engage in self-harm, and those bereaved by suicide. All of our services are provided free of charge and no referral is needed.

About Pieta

Since 2006 we have seen and helped over 48,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm, and established fifteen centres across Ireland.

A Life a Day

In Ireland in 2017, over 365 lives were lost to suicide. That's more than a life a day.

By donating €1000 to sponsor a day in 2020 your company will fund a full programme of counselling services to help one person in crisis, meaning that you will directly impact a life that might otherwise be lost to suicide.
