Reporting to the Clinical Programme Manager, Pieta are now seeking to recruit a Data Analyst. Initially working remotely, the role will then be based in Pieta Head Office.

Location: Pieta Head Office
Position Type: Contract Type: 1 year fixed term employed contract, with the possibility of extension. Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm). Annual Leave: 20 days per annum
Salary: €40,000 per annum D.O.E

Pieta provide a range of counselling services for people who are suicidal, engage in self-harm or who are bereaved by suicide. Pieta also operate a national 24-hour helpline (1800 247 247) and a dedicated Education and Training office. Key Responsibilities

  • Extract relevant data Salesforce and other secondary sources

  • Analyse information using appropriate statistical tools and techniques including computerised modeling

  • Identify trends and patterns in data

  • Present information in easily accessible forms to guide service decision making

  • Provide data reports for management and administrative staff.

  • Designing, creating and maintaining databases and data systems.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or a social science with a strong quantitative and statistical research component

  • Master’s Degree in Data Analytics or a Master’s by research in a relevant area demonstrating strong data analysis and statistical skills

  • Excellent IT skills

  • The ability to analyse, model and interpret data

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • A methodical and logical approach

  • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Good interpersonal skills to work as part of a team

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills including report writing
