Location: Pieta Head Office
Position Type: 40 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm). Annual leave: 20 days per annum
Salary: Up to €40,000 per annum D.O.E

Key Responsibilities

  • Mining data from primary and secondary sources to acquire relevant information.

  • Analysing and interpreting results using statistical tools and techniques in order to obtain relevant information for different locations nationwide.

  • Pinpointing trends and patterns in data trends.

  • Identifying new opportunities for process improvement for Pieta House’s systems.

  • Providing data reports for management and administrative staff.

  • Designing, creating and maintaining databases and data systems.

  • Fixing code problems and data-related issues in any IT related problems that may arise.

  • Use advanced computerised models to extract the data needed.

  • Perform initial analysis to assess the quality of the data.

  • Perform further analysis to determine the meaning of the data.

  • Perform final analysis to provide additional data screening.

  • Prepare reports based on analysis and present to management.

The Person

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science is essential

  • Master’s Degree in Data Analytics a strong advantage

  • A high level of mathematical ability

  • Excellent IT skills

  • The ability to analyse, model and interpret data

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • A methodical and logical approach

  • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Good interpersonal skills to work as part of a team

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills including report writing
