Pieta is committed to maintaining high standards of governance, accountability, integrity and transparency.
Our Directors’ Code of Conduct sets out the principles and standards expected of members of Pieta’s Board of Directors and Board committees. It supports directors and committee members in carrying out their responsibilities in the best interests of Pieta and the people we support.
The Code includes commitments relating to:
acting with integrity, honesty and accountability;
identifying and managing conflicts of interest;
respecting confidentiality and protecting Pieta’s reputation;
using organisational resources responsibly;
participating fully and respectfully in Board and committee business; and
supporting Pieta’s compliance with relevant legislation, organisational policies and the Charities Governance Code.
All Board and committee members are expected to uphold the Code when carrying out their responsibilities on behalf of Pieta.
