The Charities Governance Code, issued in late 2018 by the Charities Regulator, sets out the minimum standards expected of charities in effectively managing and controlling their organisation. Good governance involves putting in place systems and processes to ensure that the charity achieves its charitable objectives with integrity and is managed in an effective, efficient, accountable and transparent way.
Pieta is committed to achieving the standards laid out in the Governance Code and will report on its compliance as required by the Charities Regulator.
