Helping your child with Suicide Ideation and/or Self-Harm Six Week Psychoeducational Programme for Parents.

This programme is to help parents support a child experiencing suicide ideation and/or self-harm. The programme is aimed at parents/guardians of children & adolescents whose primary presenting problem is self-harm and/or Suicide Ideation. The programme consists of six face to face psychoeducational sessions and is for parents only.

This Programme will Cover Topics such as:
  • The signs of suicide and what parents can do if they are concerned their child may be experiencing suicide ideation or self-harming

  • Safety Planning and support

  • Awareness and signs of self-harm and how to help manage this

  • Awareness of anxiety and how to support your child

  • Awareness of low mood and low self-esteem and how to support your child with these.

  • Self-care for parents.
