Helping your child with Suicide Ideation and/or Self-Harm Six Week Psychoeducational Programme for Parents.
This programme is to help parents support a child experiencing suicide ideation and/or self-harm. The programme is aimed at parents/guardians of children & adolescents whose primary presenting problem is self-harm and/or Suicide Ideation. The programme consists of six face to face psychoeducational sessions and is for parents only.

The signs of suicide and what parents can do if they are concerned their child may be experiencing suicide ideation or self-harming
Safety Planning and support
Awareness and signs of self-harm and how to help manage this
Awareness of anxiety and how to support your child
Awareness of low mood and low self-esteem and how to support your child with these.
Self-care for parents.
